There's going to be some adjustments that have to be made so you probably should have someone else install both cables.<br /><br />c/6<br /><br />Hooty

thanks alot fellows, (rick,sco, dhadley, hooty and everyone else) I will check for someone to do the work. by the way, around how much do you think this would be. just a ballpark amount, so i won't be taken to the cleaners.

slabs <br /><br />If the engine runs good and the only problem is the cables, I would buy the cables and do it yourself. You already have the control box apart. You would just install the new cables in the box and attach them at the motor. Some minor adjustments to the cable ends at the motor might have to be made, but No big deal. Unless I missed something.???

Rick<br /><br />as far as I know the engine runs fine it cranks and idles fine. I think I will try this myself. it does not look to be that hard. just ask for throddle cables correct?

1 hr plus parts? some 60.00 labor max? Id get a quote because it is easy to estimate for any shop.
