73 SeaKing 6hp for kicker

Hey guys, I know almost nuthin boat these ob's.
I am looking for a kicker for my 18ft Alum Starcraft.
They want $125.00, supposed to run, shift, pump water fine.
Thoughts? parts available? easy maint?

You probably can't beat the price but Not without a test run.
Also keep in mind being a Chrysler built motor some shops won't work on it and while parts are out there they can be a pain to find.
The Evinrude or johnson 3,4,5,5.5,6 hp are more main line and most shops will work on them.New and used parts are available back to the early 50s.from 100s of brp dealers and other vendors across the country.Just check the pages of parts here at iboats for the Chrysler and similar size E/J motors.

Theres also a Honda 10hp on CL, and a Johnson 9.9 "Sail" model..

Just like fuel over electric for a kicker..ya know? HP I get..45 lbs of thrust = huh? lol

A Johnson Sail would be good. That means it's a long shaft
