Took boat out last weekend seemed to have starting problem resolved with ears on,until I put in the water. Lowered tilt and dropped motor into the water. Primed bulb and noticed gas on water surface. Cranked motor and hit choke and would not start, fired as the exhaust seemed to be burning some gas but would not even sputter. after many attempts motor seemed to be flooded. Disconnected the gas line and cranked a bit to try and clear excess gas. Motor started to sputter more on each attempt. Eventually is started and stalled. I re attached gas line ,reprimed and no luck. with out even using choke motor flooded.
Is there somthing blowing thru that should be regulating the gas that is being forced by the bulb pressure. Ready to give up on this motor as I have a new one being installe over the winter.

Thanks
