ok checked the carb holly 2 barrel cleaned it looks like new replaced fuel pump with electric when the motor warms up to 170-180 deg f you can see it drop to 160 seems like the thermostat opens no over heat trouble but just loses power and acts like it has a massive vacume leak is fine cold power metering screws adjust well but when its warmed up cant do more than idle back to shore if i am lucky has 600 hours on motor no smoke tick runs smooth could it be a faulty pcv valve or ??? please help

loses all power and acts like vacume leak when it reaches normal opperating temp is fine cold carb looks good inside as if it had been rebuilt recently changed out fuel pump to electronic float level seems good power valve looks fine and ideas ? please help has holly 2 barrel carb points are good on mallory old school ignition timing seems right but i will check it today

Kind of hard to decipher your post being as though it is one giant run-on sentence. Why did you use an electronic fuel pump? It sounds overly complex compared to the mechanical version that works perfectly on these engines.

I changed the pump because i thought it was a fuel supply problem

when the motor reaches normal opperating temp it runs poorly will not do better than an idle sounds like sucking and dies if you try to throttle up

before it it gets to 160 deg it runs fine it has not over heated

I would be verifying fuel pressure. Is the choke opened up when the engine is warm? I believe timing should be around 10btdc.
