just bought bass boat w/ 75hp chrysler from a storage auction looks like its was running when it was parked i havent found id plate location b4 i try to start it besides cleaning fuel system up (tank,carb) what else should be addressed thanks

Change lower unit oil,and since you don't know when it was serviced,after starting it check water flow,you may want to rebuuild the water pump,change plugs.You can get info at www.seatemp.com .

Hi bmac; Since you don't know the history of your boat, before changing the L/U oil I would replace the impeller. It's **** cheap insurance. Good Luck with your new toy. Hal :D

Hi BMAC,<br />I would purchase a Clymer's or Seloc manual as soon as you get the chance. They are available on this site or many others. Or at your nearest dealer. These are INVALUABLE..Good Luck.<br />Bill
