Lost power while on the lake, but putted back to launch on one cylinder. Got it home checked plugs and found water on lower cylinder. Checked compression and 0 on same cylinder. Other than head gasket are there other possible entries? Is it possible to buy just the head gasket or will I have to buy whole gasket set?
Also after removing head, I can see some minor scoring on this cylinder, any thought here (time for rebuild)?
Thanks,
P.S. Great board tnx iboats

fishmano,

Since you have a scored cyl., it's tear down time.

Once you do that, you'll probaly find the source of your leak-most likely a head gasket.

Don't forget to change the water pump (impeller).
