I want to replace my slow speed knob as it is missing. It appears that a PO cut the slow speed needle down so that it does not protrude through the engine cover any longer.Can I just get a new needle and unscrew the old one in favor of new? Or do I also have to remove the packing nut and washers as well?6504r.Thanks

Best to remove the packing nut and washers and install new ones while you're at it. JMO.
