75 hp merc wont start now

magnets fell out of flywheel so i went to repair shop and got a used one and now no spark motor is a 2000 model 75hp two stroke any info would be great EDIT

If you did not get the correct flywheel or stator is damaged you will have not any spark. The 2000 model should have CDM modules and the earlier is a ADI model ignition, the trigger hub in center of flywheel is different between the systems...

they look the same thats what the shop gave me and now no spark the old junk one fired like crazy but this one dont fire at all

the one i have is different you are correct if i get the stator from the other engine and put it on mine will it work then the stator part # is cdi 174-8778k1
engine is a 90 somtime 80 horse thanks

The trigger is the difference.....that why it wont fire, no signal from trigger to switchbox. To use the flywheel they gave/sold you,the following part must be changed: trigger,stator,switchbox,CDM removed and coils installed,coil harness
