Does anyone know if there’s an option to rig something together in place of oem choke? Mine burnt up. The motor still works just takes longer to crank. I don’t want to spend $185 for something that seems so simple to rig something else to the switch to move slightly up and down.

tried usd parts on EBAY,, VIntage outboard.com etc...
a small 12vdc actuator may be a possibility space permitting
