75hp Evinrude Carb help

Does anyone have any suggestions on cleaning the carbs. They are three of them in a line and it is impossible to take the bowls off. I am not sure that I am able to take them off with out messing something up. Is there something i can just spray in them to keep from taking them off or would it be best to just go ahead and take them off. Sorry Just not experienced.... The engine is a 1976 75 hp Evinrude. 1Bass..... The carburetors will need to be removed in order to rework them in any manner. If you're going to do the job yourself, I strongly recommend that you obtain a service manual first (available at the bottom of this page).<br /><br />Also, take pictures and make notes. Something you think you will never forget..... you'll forget before the wrench hits the workbench.
