Hey guys,

I hope you all had a great weekend! Happy father's day to all the fathers out there. I got a question for you all. I was out yesterday on the water and everything was going good until I was about 300 feet from the launch. I was running at about 4000 rpms and all of the sudden the engine just slowed down like it was loosing fuel. The engine died, then I was able to start it back up again and it sounded very tinny...not the usual growl. After about 20 feet or so it died again. I was not able to get it re-started after that. There was no warning chimes or lights that came on. The engine is a 2000 75hp Ficht. Any ideas?

Thanks

I work for Bombardier and I hope this problem is not a huge deal. Try calling our Sturtevant plant to see if you can get some tech help. If not call our Delavan, WI plant and ask for the Test Engineer. They may be able to point you in the right direction or give you some diagnosing tools to try. Erik G.
