My 1976 Johnson 115 has no Idle adjustment screws in carb's. What is the proper adjustment procedure's? Also throttle plates work together, Must need to be Adjusted to same angle when closed or open?

Your carbs use orifices for high and low speed, no adjustments. The throttle plates have to be completely closed at idle.

Follow Deviet's comments. The idle on that engine is set by adjusting the idle timing. The large screw on the spark advance lever is used to adjust the idle timing. The idle is set when the boat is floating normally in the water, with the engine idling in forward gear. Set to 650-750 rpm. You can't set the idle when it's on the trailer.

yes check the idle timing advance it. the linkages wear out and the the timing slows. i have a 76 85hp and had to do this. adjusting the idle only made it dump more fuel and the prob got worse.
