The new number is L82C. But you can try NGK B6HS they work very well with those low tension magneto ignitions. I have a 1976 40hp that fouls champion plugs constantly. I switched to NGK and the first set lasted one complete season.

Thanks guys. Will try the NGKs and see what happens. My desperation grows every day. I think the plugs in it were originals from '75.

No fouling today with ethanol free gas, 50:1 ratio, NGK plugs and the new coil. Finally a trouble-free day...sure needed that. Thanks for all of the input guys!
