ok i have a 76 75hp rude i belive its a 20in shaft a snapped the trim pin that goes thru the transom bracket the otherday and have a new one being ordered but wont be in for a week now i need to drive the boat to the ramp so i can pull it does anyone have the mesurments for one with the diam.? and does anyone know if i use a hardend steel or stainless threaded rod with some nylon lock nuts would work? or is it to much force that will bend the rod?
