76 Evinrude 15 carb kit question now

There is 1 piece I didnt use out of the kit. It was a small clear / white coned plastic piece. Very small. About maybe 2-3mm wide and it made a cone.

I had no clue where it went.

any ideas?

looking at the sierra and mallory kits, i do not even see that part. those kits are packaged for quite a few different carbs. not unusal to have parts left over.

I was thinking possibly the small bearing that goes on the needle.

I dont know, I didnt see the old one come out if so...and actually I dont know how you would get an old one out if there was one in there.
