IDELS FINE BUT WANTS TO DIE WHEN ACCLERATED WHEN I CHOKE IT WILL RUN FINE.BUT IT WILL SURGE AT TOP SPEED . NEW PLUGS,NEW FUEL PUMP KIT,CARBS ARE CLEAN. I WOUNDER IF CARBS NEED AJUSTED.
Hi W Beam<br />I don’t know if I can be of much help but I am having the same prob with my motor. It is a 1980 75 HP rude mod: E75ERLCSA ser: J0001240 carb: 323714. The Clymer manual that I got tells me that my mixture is not adjustable high or low. I maid sure by looking at both of the orifices. I think you halve a low speed adjustment only.
