76 mercury outboard water coming from spark plug

I just replaced water pump cause old one was shot. Got everything back together and it is cooling only issue is watwr is coming out of spark plug holes but kept on running are guessing it's a seal or gasket or maybe pee hole is blicked but wanted some opinions first and there was no water coming from a pee hole I don't even see a spot where would be the pee hole not the best pic but that's where it was coming from

Well the pictures are very poor and don't really show anything. If the water is leaking out from the edges of the spark plug recesses, the water jacket cover gasket is leaking and/or the water jacket cover has warped. Proper repair is to replace the bad parts, however that is not without risks. The cover is held on by many small bolts that tend to seize and break when disassembly is attempted, complicating the repair. A often used quick and dirty repair is to apply a bead of sealer where the cover meets the head.

So use like silicone around it ? I'll try to get a better picture today.

On a fresh water motor that is usually an easy fix.----Just replace the cover gasket.

Jumbo said there is many small bolts that tend to seize and guessing break off very easy it's an old motor and I don't want that to happen either

I don't see a pee hole where would it be located at?

Here was my 84 115 getting a new cover in 87.
On a 76 merc, the pee hole would be on the starboard side of the engine near the rear.
On my engine you can see the hose that feeds the pee hole going to the top of the block. Some older engines had the pee hole feed on the water jacket cover.

Would this here be the per hole it comes out of same are where fuel lines hook out and has hose hooking in to back of cowlings

Plug in 1976 0r 1977 or 1978 Mercury outboard motor water pump on U tube and watch the movies. They will show you where the Pee hole is.

Thanks for all help got it located now have to get it cleaned out got water just not a big stream I put a little price of wire in the hole and you can tell there is crap in there
