I have all the bolts out holding the lower unit on. I think the shift rod is keeping it from coming down all the way and off. How do I disconnect the shift rod?
There is a shoulder screw that is removed from the port side. It is located under the carburetors. See part # 74 on the cylinder and crankcase diagram for your motor: http://epc.brp.com/default.aspx?brands=ej&lang=e
