New guy here, appreciate all the knowledge about outboards here! I recently bought an old boat and motor, Johnson 35E77H, motor runs pretty good, a little rough idling , but not bad. I have changed plugs, added some Seafoam to clean it out , and adjusted the low idle to spec. all of which have improved the performance. I noticed today that while idling, the fuel pump is spitting a small mist of fuel from the bottom of the pump. Is it time to replace the pump or is there any way to repair? I have tried tightening the screws that hold the pump but it still sprays when idling. Any help appreciated. By the way what does the "H" in the model number mean?

Yep. but check hoses for leaks first. also replace all the fuel lines with alcohol resistant lines, the ethanol in the fuel today eats the old lines and clogs the carbs.
