77 merc dual solenoid power trim

my question is i have 3 button power trim w/o indicator works going down but i have no power to either purple or blue wires on back of switch are any of these wires feed by trim limit switch and if so how can i jump trim limit switch inside of boat to raise outdrive out of ground before my transom is tested by leaking tires on trailer and out drive sinking farther into dirt thanks to all

Ayuh,......

With the Control lever in Neutral,.....(I think you may need the Key On as well)

Jumper the 2 Big lugs on 1 of the 2 solenoids,... Observe the direction of the outdrive,...
If that's the Down solenoid,....You've got the Wrong 1.....
Jumper the Other 1,+ you'll be Good to Go....
