78 85hp johnson water problem

when engine is hooked to muffswater exits at pee hole as normal.
recently started also running out of front of engine by motor mount.
What is cause and cure of this problem? thanks

Are you speaking of the lower or upper mount? Lower mount is normal. Upper mount would be excessive.

There is a large hole in the water pump housing for the drive shaft to pass through. Some water escapes through that hole. So they provide drain holes to drain it off. They "hid" the holes behind the mount so you wouldn't see it and worry about it. But some people see them anyway.
