78 inline 6 drip tray.

Just wanted to know how important the drip tray is for this engine? I broke mine and they appear to be difficult to find. Will I have a problem leaving it out?

I wouldn't stress about it too much. IF your needles are good, hopefully you won't be loosing too much gas out of the carbs. Drip tray just funnels it out to the side of the motor. One way or the other it will end up in the water.

Bill, it keeps the lower cowl a bit cleaner. That's all. Forget it and move on.....
