i have a 79 9.9 thats just the sweetest running little motor you could ever ask for. My question is, is it possible to add a charging circuit to this motor. My issue is this. The bit motor is a suzi 115 runs ok.. but the kicker is a pull start wonderful little motor. but after running around all day on the kicker with the radio and livewell on.. the battery for the main motor is now dead. So that leaves me looking for a way to add a charging circuit to the kicker to keep the battery up.

Yes you can , you will need a rectifier and a stator/charge coil and more than likely a different flywheel.
simpler- get another battery

The cheap and easy way to do it might be to buy a solar powered trickle charger for the main battery. I have no experience with them, but I know some new cars come with one that you plug into the lighter. It may work for you, as long as the sun is shining.

bktheking has your answer>>>>Another battery. The solar pannels are not yet up to grade most I have seen come in 15 Watt sections if you know the conversion for watts to amps it proves my point as their not yet that great, but here it is
Watts divided by voltage equals Amps So 15 watt pannel, divided by 12 V = 1.25 amps Even 3 15 watt pannels that cost close to 200 bucks only put out 3.75 amps. Then there the converters overcharge protection and by the time your done you could have bought a battery and gone fishing for a week.

I run two, it's the simplest and cheapest answer to power requirements.
