I recently purchased a 79 Champion Fish/Ski with a 79 115 Evinrude on it. The boat sat without being run for roughly a year and half. So when i got the boat i did all the typical stuff, changed lower unit grease, plugs, etc. The first time i put it in the water, it started and ran fine except that it wouldn't get above 3000 rpm's, and didn't seem to have the power that it should have. So i started digging and discovered that it was only firing on two cylinders.....powerpacks ended up being the culprits behind this problem, replaced them, and engine ran great. Today i put it back in the water for the first time since i replaced the packs, ran WONDERFUL.....for about 2 seconds. When i applied full throttle the prop dug in and off i went, then all of a sudden the engine rpm's shot to redline and i immediately slowed down. After a few choice words i gave it just a little bit of throttle and it moved, so i gave it a little more, we went faster,.. little more and it started slipping again.

Clutch Dog Maybe??????

Any help would be greatly appreciated guys, Thank you
