Replacing Older johnson outboard with 7mm copper core spark plug wire. Which type of spark plug connector is better old spring type that pushes on thru wire jacket or newer crimp on type? Thanks in advance
you can reuse the old boot and pin prick/spring. the technique has worked for 75 years +
they sell new ones also
or use fully booted car wires using 7mm solid strand wire (no carbon) if you plan fixing more than 1 motor it may be cost effective at U$ pricing .... but just new boots is cheap and simple
I have used these in the past and they work perfectly but price has almost doubled :-(
