Well I bought another finned classic today. I can't find much on it so far seems to be kinda rare. I have found a few other and even a video 1957 Performer Havoc speed boat in action - YouTube that is not my boat but looks to be just like it. As soon as I get the 1958 lonestar nassau done this one is next. I also bought a 15 horse sea king twin from the 50's 60's

Love the lines on her, with the smooth bottom I will bet it will slide around a bit with some power behind it, and if one outboard is good, then 2 must be better right? Looks like a great canvas to make just how you want it, great find. The trailer looks old, I love the true 2 x 4 supporting a the stern.

I have found a couple pages through google that say it is a 1958-59 The boat does have paperwork it just wasn't located today. (husband of the woman that actually owned it couldn't find where she put it. Hopefully i'll get the papers and it will actually say. I didn't get to go over it much since I was in a hurry to go to work but I looked in the usual places and couldn't find a number plate yet. I bet when the person tore it down for restore it got stowed away somewhere. It does have the hin numbers on the side though They may be of some use. I just haven't found a picture of the trailer on the internet yet. It looks simular to a tee-nee but not quite. The main frame is a round tube instead of square tubing and the fenders don't match tee-nee.(wish they did).

All i have are late 70's early 80's 50 and 55 hp outboards. I found a 15 horse seaking that I bought this morning and I have also found a 25 hp johnson here in town. I think for a boat this small 20 - 30 hp will be sufficient. The 15 may even move her nicely. This is a real small boat just a 2 person not a family rig. once I get her done it may just be trading material. I like it but I would rather have something I can take 4-6 people to the lake. My lonestar can handle that just fine though. Who knows I may never do anything with it but stare at it. The lonestar is first, clear papers and tagged plus its finned tin!
