8.1S Horizon 496 motor will it fit?

Hi, I have a 26' Celebrity Andretti with a Mark IV (1989) 454 coupled to a Bravo One. I have been thinking about stroking it to a 496, but have come across a 8.1S Horizon for sale.

If I can get a sweet deal on a 2003 (I think) 8.1S Horizon (496), will it couple to my Bravo One or will I have to change lots of stuff.

With both motors sitting Side by Side,....
It should be a Reasonably Easy Swap......
There maybe some slight changes due to vintages,...
But it Still should be fairly Simple......

Okay, that what I was thinking, flywheels, etc. My boat has captains choice exhaust, so I might have to change the exhaust on the new one for my older stuff. Plus, the Horizon is fresh water cooled, my old motor isn't. But, if it'll physically fit with only a few mods, I'm all for it.

I'll hopefully be trading my old 1984 Wellcraft cuddy with a 40 over 350 with a MPFI system with a lot of new parts, gimbal, bellows etc and trailer for this motor. I figure this motor to be worth between $8 and 10$ or so, so that would be a fair price for my boat and trailer. What do you think...

Then, I can sell the old Mark IV 454 in there now if anybody is interested

I was told on another forum that these new 496 motors take different exhaust and the holes won't match up. Plus, the 496 is a tall deck and uses different heads etc. So, this would or wouldn't work? Should I just stroke my 454?

At least on Volvos, the 8.1 and 7.4 uses identical manifolds.
