8/32 holes in my hull!!!

Hey guys, to start off with im willing to say im a big dummy:facepalm:. I replaced the decking on my 16 bayliner trophy bass boat and i had a couple drywall screws pertrude out the bottom of the hull! now that ive taken them out what is the best way to fix these? a good industrial silicone or something better?

A great all season tube of 3M 5200 will seal that up well, and it wont come off easy. Send us a picture to make sure we are seeing what you see. And for what it's worth, you aren't the first one!. Don't sweat it.

Good thing they aren't 1/4' holes!!:rolleyes: :D

The best way to fix them is to dish out the hole area a bit, spread some poly based fairing compound, sand it, and try and match the gel color..

I think Iboats sells gel coat repair kits...
