Very nice, reliable outboards, those are. Price is hard to say, exactly. I've seen them for sale on Craigs List here in the Twin Cities for anything from $600-900 for years from the late 80s into the 90s. Condition is everything on these. They're not as popular as the 9.9 hps from the same years.
Cosmetic damage lowers the price, but may not affect the outboard's running abilities. I have a 1992 6hp, very similar. It sat outside in the sun for years, and the decals on the cowling are faded, but it only had about 20 hours on it when I got it.
They're easy to work on, and troll down very, very nicely, and my 6hp planes my 12' aluminum boat pretty well.
Parts are easy to come by, as well.
