i have a 2004 johnson 8 hp. j8r4sr, bought this from a local dealer in 2006 as left over stock, and they only deal in hondas. there is a id plate on the port side, but no numbers or anything,just blank. does anyone know any reason for this? thanks for any help. funny how little things bug people.
