800 in place of early 1974 stringer

Is it possible to replace a1974 stringer electric whith an 800 series .Its on a 190hp 302ford

I'm Sure there'll be Plenty of Glitches.......<br /><br />But with what I know about OMCs, those are both "Big Hole" drives.......<br />I'm Sure it's Possible...... But, I Don't Know how Far you have to go to find Common Ground.......<br /><br />Welcome to the forums at iboats.......<br /><br />Someone will be along to tell you how Much, or how Little those 2 drives have in common.........
