it isn't overheating anymore....on the first voyage out i ran into some shallow soft sand and managed to get out.....little did i know it wasn't pissin' ...guess i clogged it...and i didn't realize. Long story short i blew a head gasket.....powerhead got so hot it turned yellow from the original white...so i changed out the water pump..thermo..all ignition parts...and a few other things...she purrs like a kitten now...just wanted to install a tach and some kind of temp guage or alarm seeing as i don't have anything...
