BIG NO NO on the carb cleaner....It puts wear and tear on a 2 cycle engine in minutes trust me I know this from dear experience.....Carb cleaner or starting fluid lacks any lubricating oil, and in turn washes the cylinders down of any oil film on your pistons, rings, and cylinders....and can really make things ugly...To test run or prime use a small bit of your mixture from your fuel tank in a squirt bottle or oil can but NEVER carb cleaner or starting fluid....you'll ruin it

yeah I read something here about NO carb cleaner after I did mine, glad I did not tear anything up very lucky also I got some premix in a bottle to shoot in the carbs got the idea here on iboats thanks again guys
