82 4winns damaged prop ?'s

I have a 82 4winns 180 marquise with a volvo-penta 2.3l (115-125hp not sure) engine model aq125a.(volvo 280 ...17spline long shaft version)

Right now the prop is a michigan wheel 14x19 andhas some damage to the leading edges(not sure of proper term) Not terible but kinda rounded off, (recently purchased boat this way).

I dont have the exact spec for my boat as far as weight goes, but the same boat(1983) with a 140hp i/o is stated as being 2200lbs.....I would think mine is the same of maybe a little less.

I keep the fuel topped off(27gals) and never below 10gallons...
people and gear 600lbs.

OAL 18' beam 91"
current WOT is 4400-4500rpm(should be 4800 for this engine)

I am looking to purchase a new aluminum prop, and am trying to decide between another 14x19 or 14x17.

I have no clue what the speed is at WOT...speedo is broke, and no gps

Do you think the damaged prop is reduceing the rpms and a new one would get me back to 4800rpm, or should I drop down to a 17p?I wouldnt mind a little more wholeshot for the days we have extra people on board....

I should also note it is a counter rotation prop.

from what I've been reading 4 blade isn't a good option???

Sleepy, borrow somebodies GPS or a lot of phones have GPSso we an see what your prop slip is now.
