when removing the lower unit I was able to find all the bolts, the unit starts to lower about 3" My problem is the unit will not disengage from the shift linkage....Need some helpful hints!
There should be an access panel on the side of the case held on by 2 screws. Remove the plate. You should see the linkage thru the hole.<br />Loosen the screws only as much as you need to. You should not need to completely remove them.
Thanks for the quick response.....I'll give it a try.....Do you know it there is an easy(nothing is ever easy)way to replace the screens in the lower unit, so I don't pick up all the debris.<br />Thanks Deuce
