Replaced the impeller in the motor and there is very little water coming from the pee hole and what does come out seems to be almost boiling hot. I then seen what looked like steam starting to come out of the pee hole so I shut the motor down. Person who was running the motor prior to me said that the water stopped coming out and they ran it off and on for about 20 minutes to get to shore. These were very short bursts of run time I'm assuming. anyway I made sure that the water tube from the pump slid over the tube inside as I was putting it back together and I also made sure the key was lined up on the impeller. There is no thermostat in the motor so the water should run right through. I also blew all the hoses and passages out with compressed air and they all seem to be free of obstruction. What could it be?
