Bad news, now that the gluvit is dried and turned color I see five groups of two rivets I missed so more gluvit on the way from jamestown distributors but is 15 buck more on an already expensive item. I'll slather the rest as a second coat and along the hull to gunnel seams I had not planned on doing.

Good news, it will be here no later than Wednesday and I can keep busy with other parts of the reassembling during that time.

Bad news, spilled a couple hundred rivets getting set up to reinstall the floor center beam.

Good news, I did not spill the Saturday morning screwdriver.

Best news, marrying off the last boy in a few hours so see yall later.

Last few days of intermittent mist makes me feel like I'm back in seattle. Sooo had to set up in the garage. Not quite enough room for everything but coat one is one, with grippy stuff.

Plan on doing second and or third coat once all reset to cover up and nicks.

Got a second coat on three of my four pieces. The one primed only is the stern one so going in last. I got time.

Realized I didn't have the correct length rivets so those be here tomorrow.

Bow piece with the wiring race in tomorrow, if I get frisky maybe the second fuel line extension.

Fuel line question.

I'm setting up two tanks. I think I only need one bulb that is between the control valve and the engine?

Extra can of gluvit arrived yesterday so did that today. Didn't feel like measuring out a small portion plus all of ot hit the budged so did the whole can and took the hot sauce approach....

Got a late start today so 85 degree perfectly sunny day with no wind didn't let me get much done, aluminum got too hot to touch plus needed another pink board. Doing one inch on the outside areas got a 2 inch that I think I'll do vertically once I position all the hoses.

I'm hoping there is enough room up front for my 6 gallon tank. If you look hard I have a fuel line ran up to there. If not enough room I'll prob custome build something up there.

Not much can compare to the smell of an old two stroke boat motor in an early morning, but pvc primer and cement sure comes close..... bonus is this for the old boat. It will be my wire chase. I used two 45s to smooth out the 90 for ease of pushing wires.

Welp...

Hit 96 heat index by 1030, I try to quit at 90.

Wife got hangry for fried chicken livers so did a run for those, she is now calm(ish).

Got the bow nose section in and riveted with a glop of 4200 at each hole and the bow stuffed with pink board. Uses a large flange river so should seal off well. Have a plan for the deck joints, we'll see if i implement. It is total overkill.

So off to mow, weed eat then pool time.

So far has prob twice the foam as original, more to come. Have laid out the livewell drain line. Should have the next floor section in today if I can beat the heat.

Sure glad I took pics of the floor before I ripped it out.

One on wrong side and since all painted and angle cut edges can not just flip but I was also thinking of adding and extra hole on that side so gtg. All under the center console so hidden. There were also two holes about 1.5 inches from each other, and 3 inches from the edge of the board and I apparently chose to cut then all into one run from the edge. Didn't remember doing that so caused me some consternation for a minute. An adult beverage and looking at some pics fixed my brain. Pretty sure I did that to help running livewell lines.

Pics, plus the pdf of the original brochure came in handy again this morning. When I was pulling apart I just cut the shift cables and could not remember which hole they came out of. Sure wish I had the v4 85 rude the brochure has hanging on her.... anyway figure how to attach shift cables to the motor and hoping my matching the existing adjustments work out.

Getting ready to set the third piece of floor so unbundling all wires, all new hoses etc but was about a foot short on one hose and ran out of rivets. They are currently out for delivery but the heat I text jumped to 98 so I'm tapping out for the day.

Also set the pvc wire chase in place for any future stuff. I'll cur a new hole for it to pop out under the center console.

Hit 94 heat index by 0830 so not a bunch gonna happen today.

Did get the third floor panel in, not secured or anything. Need to cut the hole for the wire chase and seal of course. Hose for livewell came as planned and that is in but now thinking I should run a couple wire set thru it now. Had planned for future use only but future steering and or shift cables replacement would be best without wires just hard stuff.

Hopefully I can get the thru hulls in the livewell swapped out in between pool breaks.

Pulled back Saturday so day on the couch but got some good work done yesterday before the heat. Everything set up to get the helm back in tomorrow when one of our stray 'kids' will come help. A few more rivets to do on the third panel then some more piddling until tomorrow.

Can't really see it in this Pic but I did get my 1.5 inch pvc tube in. Going to run my fish finder wire in there for sure and if I decide to replace speedometer with a raidio. Tested with my fish tape works great, plus I have 12 ga wire in it, secured at both ends
