83 115Hp Jonney Flooding

2 of the past 3 times I took my boat out it floods out and refuses to crank. It has plenty of spark. The other time it cranked and ran flawlessly. Both times it acted up was when I had someone wanting to buy the boat with me. Any suggestions?<br /><br />Thanks in advance!

Take the carbs apart and clean them. Replace the needle and seats. Sounds like you haev some trash in them.

I already took them off this afternoon. They are soaking tonight. Did not see any trash, but that doesn't mean anything. <br />We'll see tomorrow.<br />Thanks

True! And use OE kits only to put them back together.<br /><br />Good luck!<br /><br />BTW -- what are you soaking them in?
