The upper bearing may not be sold separately. I went throught this about 4 Years ago. There were some numbers on that bearing which I pressed out of the upper bearing housing. It may have been a Torrington bearing. Anyway, when I went to a number of bearing companies, including talking to someone in California and they all told me that it was a proprietary bearing and that they only sold it to the original manufacturer-that it was unavailable to be sold over the counter. The thing is that bearing and housing is really common. Thousands of these engines were produced over the years. Took me about 5 minutes to find a marine salvage yard which had an excellent (and inexpensive) used part.
