83 - 35hp rude lower unit trouble

Got some weed's wrapped around prop and lower unit.Cleared it.Water stopped streaming out top circulation hole and soon after that the motor felt like it was moving side to side and finally popped out of gear.Made it back in at low throttle but...........what happened...?

part of it sounds like the weeds clogged the water pick up, and burnt up the impeller, the side to side stuff, no idea.

Guess it's time for another examination. I wonder how many broken "$" I'll find in there. They're everywhere...!

Update : The side to side movement is a broken motor mount. I'm surprised it did'nt just fall off.Blew out water line's ,had to be a piece of "bad" weed. HA. Now I just have to check everything .aahhgg.The moral of this story : avoid the weed(s)........
