Just replaced the clutch dog and put it back together the right way. Held toghether great for appr. 3 hr's of run time .Put back in the water today and it started slowly backing itself out of gear . When you first put it gear it lock's right up like it's supposed to.Will stay in at low throttle but as I gave it gas it back's out. Will stay in at any rpm with slight pressure , no noise or anything just smooth cruisin... Not locking up with forward gear ???

Brand new dog.Kept gear. Dog and shifter were in backward's Had a very slight wear spot on forward gear but held together perfectly first time out.Boy was I pattin myself on the back for a job well done.. Lock's up nice but eases itself right out of gear now. I just have to keep the slightest bit of pressure on it and it stay's in but this can't possibly be a good thing. Guess I'll just have to pull it apart again. Cheaper than a factory rebuild. At least this time I know where everthing goes...
