Does anyone have a ballpark guess at the wieght of my 1984 4winns marquis 170 with a 3.8L OMC Sterndrive.

Thank you. I live in colorado and use the boat primarily along the front range at about 5000 ft elevation. Currently I am using a 14.8" diameter X 17" aluminum 3 blade prop. At wot 4400 - 4600 rpm I am getting about 41 - 42 mph on gps. Does this sound about right. It pulls good out of the hole but was wondering what would be the highest pitch prop that would be feasible.

If you go here you can look at the original factory specs in terms of speed depending on your engine combos. It only goes back to 88, but hopefully it's close
