83 evinrude 90hp has no spark

I have an 1983 evinrude 90. That I cannot get to start. It turns over and over and over but won't spark. I have spark on all plugs, carbs a freshly cleaned, has fuel to it. Took it out for 2 days straight all day, went out on the 3rd day and when I shifted to neutral at about 10 mins in to the ride and it stalled and wouldn't fire?? I have a video of what it is doing but cannot post it. It will turn over pop and sputter, and stop. Sometimes it may run for a couple seconds but that's all!???

You can post your video on youtube easy enough.

And your post is a bit confusing - you say "won't spark" but you "have spark on all plugs". Please clarify.

Like he said, no spark, but you have spark? Exact words used can help or confuse things when trying diagnose a problem over the Internet.

This is a shot in the dark, but a sheared flywheel key can show symptoms just like this. With more information you will get better answers.

Sounds like you have (a) bad coil(s). You said you have no spark but it will run for a few seconds so that is why I think it is bad coils... coils are not just "good" or "bad" they can be extremely weak and cause the engine to only fire sometimes

Maybe check the flywheel key--Does not cost much to do.
