Never drill a jet. You will change the ramp angles. <br /><br />If you are sure the carbs are clean (I would clean them even if you are sure), and you are using FRESH 87 octane with Champion plugs then you may indeed have to change jets for todays fuel. The carbs you have are calibrated for fuel we had 20 years ago. <br /><br />What top RPM can you get at WOT?<br /><br />Good luck!
