'83 lower unit

Got a friend with an '83 Chrysler 3cyl, I think 75hp that in need of a l/u. I know it's the one piece unit and am told that the earlier 2 piece unit will not fit. If that be the case what years did they make that one piece lower unit. And, are there any Force lower units that will fit. Thanks, Chief

Go to www.dougrussell.com and go to their parts section. Click on the motor in question and find the part number of the gearcase. Then search for other Force or Chrysler models with the same part number.
