Hi, I have an 83 merc 6cly, 2 stroke nonpowered trim and I had it running great at the end of last season. replaced the water pump and I couldn't get it to start back up due to a dead battery... so winterized it and called it a season. This year I went to try to get it to start... It will turn over very well, but I am not getting spark in any of the 6 clys. Could someone give me a rundown on what I should test? Im figuring the kill switch first, what would the best way be? disconnect the black/ yellow wires from the power packs and the mercery switch? Any help would be greatly appreciated! A Repair manual would be nice also! Thanks!
