84 Bayliner ciera. steering very hard to turn

The boat has been sitting for 10 years. What should i grease, and where? very hard to turn wheel.

First unhook the steering arm and see if it's the drive that's stiff or the steering cable.Cable stiff? Replace it or remove it and see if the steering tube is clogged.RUBBER HAMMER ONLY!!!
The drive?There is a grease fitting on the inside of the boat on the top of the steering arm.
Usually if it's that stiff your gonna need to take stuff apart and clean/replace the bushings.
Do the check and post what's wrong.Then i can explain the procedure to remove the drive and steering yoke.J
