I'm trying to replace the spark plug wires and can't get them out of the coils.
In one case I did - see pics below.

How can I get the wires out of the coils and get new ones back in???

No Title

It didn't save my pics.
I can't get them to budge.
I'll try again tomorrow.
I pulled the wire out of one of them.
Is the pin still in the coil connection?

What are my best wire set options for replacing the wires.
Budget is of course tantamount but I'd really like blue or red wire instead of black.
Can I buy a 'kit' and make them?

Ya gotta wiggle 'em around and pull at tha same time. Age an/or being off before makes a big difference. They will pull out sometimes and sometimes tha metal tip will stay in tha coil. Easiest way ta get it out is with small needle nose. Before ya put tha new ones in take a small brush, simple green and clean, blow out with air and let dry. Install new with a touch of die-lectric on it...

Some "build" their own wires but I don't. Get mine from Merc or Pro Marine..........

Thanks DukeDog - I'll be doing some wiggling shortly.

Wired247 I quote you below and ask, what wire do you use?
"90 degree angle connectors are $0.48 at Napa. Boots are $2 each. I use a MSD wire crimping tool. It was $5 or so and you use it with your vise. Strip back a bit of the insulation and fold the wire back. Crimp the end on and shove the crimped end into the boot. Whole process takes about a minute . "
