I've got an 84 V191 with a 2.5 I4 and a BIG problem. The threaded portion of the jackscrew that is responsible for the trim of the motor (Selectrim) sheared off! I believe I've found a replacement jackscrew but before I try to dis-assemble everything, does anyone know if it threads out of the lower worm drive portion? It looks from the picture that there is a retaining washer and nut but I'm not sure. Does anyone have experience with this?! Thanks in advance!

Welcome aboard JR.

I've not taken a Selectrim apart myself, but looking over what I have in my manual - and answering what I think you're asking - the jackscrew will turn right out of the engine mount. You don't have a retaining piece at the bottom. Once the jackscrew has been removed from the engine, and the upper engine mount disassembled, you can use the lower mounting bracket to spin the screw free from the bottom bracket.
