Re: 84 Sea Ray Seville Resto

Here's an update on how far I'm at right now. A little more sanding and I can finally start installing the stringers and floor. I pulled out the old stringers and they were only 1/2" plywood, only by the gas tank was it doubled up. As I was sanding down the fiberglass at the transom where the stringer attaches, I noticed that the corner was a little rotten. I dont think it goes up more than a 1/2" but will find out once i finish sanding and maybe drill some holes. If it is only a little rot where the stringers attach to the transom, can I just scrap out the rot and fill in with fiberglass?? or would you guys say take out the transom as well?? The transom consists of 3 seperate pieces and it sounds soild and has 0 flex in it. I will take pictures of it once I do some more sanding.IMG_2611.jpgIMG_2612.jpgIMG_2613.jpgIMG_2614.jpg
